O-Shot All you need to know.

What is O-Shot:

This procedure injects PRP into the vaginal walls, clitoris, and G-spot. To stimulate cellular regeneration, and tissue repair in these targeted areas. The increased number of repaired cells helps boost blood flow to the area.

PRP is a naturally occurring plasma derived from the patient’s own blood. The plasma is rich in growth factors (naturally occurring substances that can stimulate cell production and healing). PRP has previously been used to heal injuries, and speedup healing after surgeries. It has also been used in facial rejuvenation (Vampire Facial), and to treat hair loss.

Who is it for:

The O-Shot has shown promising results with female incontinence as well as female sexual dysfunction. Results very. Patient’s who’ve received the O-Shot and professional providers administering the treatment have noticed:

  • Increased ability to orgasm
  • Increased intensity of orgasms
  • Increased lubrication
  • Decreased Incontinence
  • Decreased pain during intercourse
  • Improvement of Lichen Sclerosus
  • Improvement of Lichen Planus

Pre-Treatment Instructions:

AVOID the Systemic use of corticosteroids for 1 week before the procedure. AVOID Alcohol and Cigarettes for 5 days before the procedure. HYDRATE very well the day before and the day of the procedure for ease of blood draw. SHAVE the treatment area within 24 hours of the procedure.

What to Expect During The Treatment:

An O-Shot treatment only takes about one hour. During this time you will begin by reviewing and signing consents. Then a topical numbing is applied in and around the vaginal area. While this numbing cream is taking effect, the patient will have their blood drawn from their arm. The blood that is collected is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the PRP from the blood. Once the area is fully numbed the PRP is injected into the walls of the vagina, G-spot, and clitoris. The injections are quick and relatively painless, often described as a small pinch or pressure where injected.

Post Treatment Care:

There is virtually NO downtime post treatment! Some mild spotting might occur. The numbing effect will gradually wear off and there should be minimal or no discomfort post treatment. Mild swelling is normal. You can resume all regular activities the same day. Including work, exercise, and even intercourse!

  • It is not recommended to take any anti-inflammatories shortly after treatment, as inflammation is a key component to the treatment’s success.
  • You should start noticing results in about 2-4 weeks!
  • Results very, as do the length of results. Most women have results lasting about one year.
